Printing applications

Model-based dental printing examples

!
Model printing is not the same as producing a device for direct oral contact.

Patient-contact, clinical or regulated applications require documentation for the exact resin, printer, print settings, washing method, post-curing equipment, sterilization process where applicable, intended use and target market. A qualified dental professional must confirm the final application.

Working process

From model data to inspected resin part

Establish and document each step instead of evaluating the printer as an isolated piece of equipment.

Material matching

Yidimu resin categories to evaluate

Eternal D1 uses a 405 nm light source. Wavelength alignment is necessary, but it does not by itself confirm the print profile or the final application.

Clinical or direct intraoral use:

i
Confirm the exact material documentation.

Review the current TDS, SDS, IFU, compatible equipment, validated print settings, washing method, post-curing method and local regulatory requirements. Do not assume that one dental resin is suitable for every model, guide, temporary restoration or patient-contact application.

Questions and answers

Eternal D1 FAQ

What is the Eternal D1 mainly used for?

Eternal D1 is a desktop LCD resin 3D printer for professional model-production workflows. Published applications include dental models, orthodontic models, guide-type models, jewelry patterns and other detailed photosensitive-resin parts. The exact material and final use must be confirmed separately.

Does the 14K screen guarantee dimensional accuracy?

No. Screen resolution and XY display values describe the exposure system. Finished-part dimensions also depend on calibration, resin behavior, exposure, orientation, supports, model geometry, washing, post-curing and the inspection method.

Which resins can be evaluated with Eternal D1?

Eternal D1 uses a 405 nm light source. Compatible photosensitive resins may be evaluated after confirming wavelength, exposure requirements, intended use, washing instructions, curing procedure and technical documentation.

Can every 405 nm resin use the same settings?

No. Wavelength compatibility does not establish a complete print profile. Exposure, bottom layers, lift settings, orientation, supports and dimensional compensation must be evaluated for the exact printer, resin, model and layer thickness.

Can printed Eternal D1 parts be placed directly in the mouth?

The printer alone does not determine suitability for direct oral or patient-contact use. Such applications require valid documentation for the exact resin, printer, settings, washing method, post-curing process, sterilization method where applicable, intended use and local regulatory status.

Does Yidimu provide diagnosis or dental treatment?

No. Yidimu supplies 3D printing equipment, resin materials and related workflow information. It is not a hospital, dental clinic or treatment provider and does not provide diagnosis or treatment advice.

Do all dental resins use the same washing process?

No. The required cleaning agent, washing time, drying conditions and handling procedure depend on the exact material. Follow the current TDS, SDS and IFU supplied for that resin.

Do all printed parts use the same UV curing time?

No. Curing time depends on the resin, part dimensions, wall thickness, color, curing equipment, light distribution and intended use. Use the validated conditions stated in the material documentation.

Which model files and slicing software are supported?

The published specification lists STL and OBJ as source model formats, CHITUBOX or CHITUBOX Pro for slicing, and CTB as the machine print-file format.

Does Eternal D1 have FDA, CE, ISO or MDR certification?

This page does not make any FDA, CE, ISO, MDR or other certification claim. Request the current certificates, reports, legal manufacturer details, product scope and applicable market documentation before making a regulatory decision.

What should I provide when requesting a quotation?

Provide the model file or screenshots, maximum dimensions, intended application, material category, required quantity, critical dimensions, surface requirements, available washing and curing equipment, voltage and installation requirements.
